#2:  CareerZing Orientation: This is a one-hour session educating students and parents about CareerZing offerings.  If you are interested in bringing this program to your group please contact us.  This is ideal for schools, PTSA meetings, religious youth group meetings and career centers. 

 

#3:  Career Exploration & Career Readiness:  A four-hour intensive seminar for high school and college level students interested in learning how to evaluate skills and interests to make educated decisions on fields of study and career choices.  We introduce our 360 Career Assessment and specific tools and practical advice to assist in the discovery process.  Then we cover essential elements needed to enter the workforce – whether it is as an intern, summer job, cooperative education position or when starting a career.  Some of the topics covered are:

  • What employers are looking for in the ideal employee
  • Common workplace mistakes made by young adults and how to remedy them
  • Writing winning resumes and cover letters
  • Interviewing skills including how to prepare for the Behavioral Interview
  • Dressing for success
  • Marketing strategies to land a great job
  • Networking skills
  • Utilizing the internet to assist in job search and marketing
  • Cleaning up your “cyber” image and etiquette of electronic communication

 

 

#4:  Professional Etiquette:  This seminar is customized to prepare attendees to successfully enter the working world.  Emphasis is on proper meal conduct, professional networking, preparation for job interviews and conduct on the job.  It will ultimately give participants confidence in every social and professional setting.  We cover the following topics:

  • How to conduct yourself at: sit-down dinners, receptions, buffets
  • The power of effective communication and being a good conversationalist 
  • How to be an attentive listener
  • Your responsibility as a guest and how to follow a good host
  • The art of the written “Thank You”
  • Winning networking skills that work in all business & social settings
  • To dress & groom for success in interviews, professional & social settings

 

#5:  Prom Etiquette: Believe it or not, there are rules to having fun.  Teen will learn how to make the most of this once in a lifetime event - their prom. The following topics are covered:

 

  • The fine art of charm, poise, & respect
  • Single and group date etiquette
  • Navigating the formal table setting & buffet table
  • Restaurant dining – ordering, tipping and more…
  • To look your best - proper prom wear, grooming, posing for photos
  • Electronic communication and its “place” at prom
  • Staying safe and having fun through the evening

 

This session is designed for an individual, small group or can be presented in an auditorium format and covers the essentials of being well-mannered in just One Hour!  No meal is needed.
